钰理 — working with the grain.
Yuli is a textile sourcing company in Keqiao, Shaoxing. The name is two characters: 钰, a treasure, and 理, which first meant cutting jade along its grain and only later came to mean order and reason. Between them they describe the whole job.
Keqiao holds the largest concentration of fabric production and trade anywhere. That is an advantage only if you can navigate it. Thousands of mills, most of them specialists in one stage of a four- or five-stage chain, and quality that varies more between two looms in the same town than it does between two countries. Sourcing here is not a matter of finding a supplier. It is a matter of knowing which one.
We are a European–Chinese team, and we work the way a buyer would if they lived here: choose the article, argue the price, watch the run, and refuse the lot if it comes off wrong. What our clients get is not access to the market — anyone can fly in. It is the judgment that takes years to build.
From specification to shipment
Specification
You send composition, weight, width, and shade — or a swatch, which is better. We come back within one working day with what it costs and what it takes.
Sampling
Swatches or sample yardage by courier, usually inside a week. Nothing goes to production before you have held the cloth.
Production & QC
We place the order and stay on it. Every lot is checked for weight, width, colour fastness, and weaving faults before it is allowed to leave the mill.
Shipment
Domestic delivery, or handover to your forwarder, with the export documentation in order.
Why not just go to the factory direct?
Because a single mill in Keqiao is usually one specialist in a four- or five-stage chain, not your whole order. Its minimums, its language, and its production queue are all built around large domestic accounts — not around a buyer mixing a few articles across a few mills.
That is the gap we close. Lower effective minimums, because one order can be spread across several mills. A sample in your hands before you commit to anything. And quality control that sits on your side of the transaction rather than the seller's.
The mill inspecting its own work is not inspection.
We are not a mill, and we do not pretend to be one. We are the buyer's side of the world's largest fabric market.
A new supplier starts with one order.
Start small. Judge us on the first delivery.
